Danny Hammoud brings a grounded, client-centered approach to the practice of family law, shaped by a strong foundation in legal writing, advocacy, and real-world courtroom experience. A graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (J.D., 2023), Danny earned recognition as a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and served as a member of the Student Bar Association. Before law school, he completed his B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Philosophy at Wayne State University (2019), a combination that continues to inform his thoughtful communication style and practical problem-solving skills.
Danny’s interest in family law grew through hands-on experience in settings that demanded clarity, empathy, and disciplined advocacy. During his externship with the Third Judicial Circuit Family Court in Detroit, he observed and assisted with a wide range of family hearings, including trials, custody matters, and name-change proceedings. He further strengthened his litigation and counseling skills through the Juvenile Appellate Clinic, where he managed case files, drafted motions and briefs, presented oral arguments, and navigated complex issues at the intersection of child welfare, mental health, immigration, and juvenile justice

As the founder and CEO of a federally licensed e-commerce business, he managed compliance across multiple federal frameworks, collaborated with legal advisors, and oversaw operational
