Mario Hernandez-Gerety, Esq. was born and raised in Albuquerque and has lived in New Mexico most of his life. Mario earned bachelor’s degrees in English and Political Science from the University of New Mexico and his Juris Doctor degree from University of Maryland School of Law where he graduated with a Health Law Certificate in 2014. After his return to New Mexico, Mario was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar and began practicing in creditor’s rights and real property law, specializing in mortgages and secured transactions. After three years working for a large firm, he started his own practice representing individuals and businesses in real property law and landlord-tenant law, as well as government relations/lobbying. Upon joining Jay Goodman & Associates, P.C., Mario has expanded his areas of expertise to include family law/domestic relations, as well as probate and appellate practice.
